SandBox Comments: Aspen Daily News/Erik Peltonen "Carbon monoxide defendant extends thanks to community"

SandBox Nanny thanks Erik Peltonen for his sentiments expressed on The Aspen Daily this morning.

"Editor:

I would like to thank everyone in this community who supported me in this 15-month long ordeal. There are too many names to mention, but please believe that I remember and am grateful to each and every one of you. Your concern helped immeasurably.  Special mention goes to the city of Aspen, Pitkin County and my legal team.

The good that came of this terrible tragedy will be permanent — the use of carbon monoxide detectors in all buildings. Let us all be at peace with that.
(Erik Peltonen, Basalt)
