SandBox Comments: Glenwood Springs Post Independent "Reapportionment makes slight changes for Garfield County'

SandBox is very glad to see that there were such minor changes to redistricting.

We feel that we can thank our Garfield County Commissioners for that.

"I think you're right, nanny. Too late to change this poll but they could run another one asking if the people want a bigger stick and staying the course. I've got $5 on that number being above 80% of the population.
Mexican Presidente was on FOX. Almost begging for US help with the brutality of the Mexican cartels. The hypocrite still had to imply his political ilk that legalizing was the way to go. But has completely backed down on pushing now that he's at the point of begging for help.
If Perry was in office the boots on the ground would have that big stick. This is the worst it's ever been.
I for one am not willing to risk my family and loved ones to do a trial spin on legalizing heroin, coke, meth and rec pot. It's like the situation with illegal aliens. We have got to stop the problem and put it to a grinding halt before we can find out what works for long term.
It's about the law. "

SandBox Comments: Craig Daily Press "DEA: Dispose of bath salts"

(See related stories and comments here and here)

SandBox Nanny is going to also toss up a poll that's running up and over on the Craig Daily Press.  Here's the link

She calls upon the Craig Daily staff to broaden out how they poll the topic.  She suspects that the high number of 'No' responses is because the folks responding want more, rather than less, from the Feds, regional and local agencies.

An overwhelming amount of support has been rolling in for months.  Pretty much since the major bust in Aspen a few months ago.

People want immigration sweeps that find illegals.

They say they want gang activity down to zero tolerance policies by our cops.

They call for strength in the clean-up on drugs.

What would the Craig Daily Press poll numbers look like if the 'No' votes combined with the 'Yes' votes?

Food for thought.

Thank you to the Yampa Valley All Crimes Enforcement Team and the DEA for continuing to bring the awareness of this masked and very deadly new drug.
