SandBox Comments: Aspen Times "Aspen city attorney says opinion to commission is confidential"

Good grief.

First, Mitzi Rapkin's disingenuous column from the city the other day.

And now this load of bunk on his personal definition of confidentiality and who he represents from Aspen City Attorney John Worchester.

(whisper...whisper...sheesh...wonder if the City of Aspen is ever going to figure out who they really represent out here....whisper...whisper....could there be any greater lengths for them to go to in their effort to redefine the word "secrets"?)

Great post. Congrats to Marilyn for a victory over big government. Building in Aspen makes anyone a tea partier, even someone to the left of Jesus like me.

Lee, anybody who builds in Aspen is a brave lad.

I've got a lot of admiration for Marilyn going the distance she has.

It really is that important to put a stop to misleading propoganda. The city of Aspen is trying to manipulate their interpretation of the law. Anybody who's gone up against real power just to return to themselves a legal right knows that real power has the ability to repress what weakens it.

She's had a long and tough road but hopefully they'll quash this appeal quickly at the high court level and she'll find relief.
