SandBox Comments: Aspen Daily News "Mayor: Little Annie’s proposal is ‘blackmail’"

In a stunningly non-surprising move, Mayor Mick Ireland once again just opens his mouth and steps into yet another'mud-pit' in order to wrestle with Aspen developer Nikos Hecht.

Oh, lordy.  (sighs...rolls eyes...)

What's the prob this time?

Do we really need the City of Aspen to pay Nikos for the pleasure of a triple-size penthouse instead of affordable housing just so we can keep Little Annie's?

Stay tuned!  Aspen.  Live!

we all know mick is out for mick. he's a politician but more often than not--he helps out little people. because it helps him. but he was right on about this: nikos hecht is big $ on steroids. he just got caught. so did the crowns:
i wrote this in nairobi---my parents' ticket got messed up on british airways so we ended up spending a few days hanging out in nairobi where i wrote this:

i'm amazed when i go to church at aspen community church which had 500 people @ its opening 120+ years ago. now the religion of aspen is $ & we are lucky to manage 50. on easter. today's young often find their community on fb & in bars. which speaks volumes... & the town suffers as a result.

love your neighbor is a powerful message and it will continue to be so if the managed exit of greece from the euro isn't... managed. 2nd dip?

a harvard aspen daily news writer who is friends of one of the crowns generation 4/5 (?) said they think i'm ridiculous. i love to chuckle.

of course i am; but what they don't get is it's tough to top limousine liberals who don't even get that they're fascists? really-- who defends a ban on public lands that started when a member of the community passed out flyers? this may work in chicago but it ain't gonna fly in a town of 7000. big $ or not.

some believe justice like our govt is one big farce. i'm here 2 prove it's not.
