SandBox Comments: Denver Post "Feds: Colorado medical-marijuana dispensaries within 1,000 feet of a school must close"

So it begins.

Wonder what the City of Glenwood Springs is going to do now that we move closer to federal closures and prosecutions of marijuana based industry?

At the very least one would think our city council would be bringing the subject up to the people.  Sounds like a good thing for Mayor Pro-Tem Leo McKinney to start tackling.

It's way overdue but the real question is still political.

How did any esteemed leader, in any Colorado municipality, think they should (or could) put a pot shop that close to a school?

I still vote for one big raid on the whole state all at the same time and wipe it all out until the day comes when federal law makes marijuana legal.

Save the folks some dough and not string this out. Just let the poor business owners go free, who've now lost their life savings thanks to the politicos. Confiscate the goods. Give them one warning before SAC James Bond Schrant comes knockin on the door.
