"....After disbarred DA Myrl Serra was sentenced for harassing female employees and other misconduct earlier this month, the head of the Colorado District Attorneys Council is now speaking out.
Last year, Serra plead guilty to felony extortion and misdemeanor unlawful sexual contact. He was also found guilty of violating his bond.
In an open letter printed by the Denver Post, Colorado's District Attorney Council, expressed sympathy for Serra's victims and disgust for his actions, stating that as the state's prosecutors, "We are held to a higher standard--as we should be...." (Learn more? Click title. Comment to discuss)

Quick google shows Beeson isn't the head of anything at the CO District Attorney council. Is this some kind of campaign promotion trying to attach to credit for Serra? What's his announce video doing on this article?
This "Beeson anonymous" campaign will work. Get somebody running against and then bring names out into the open.
He's not. Has nothing to do with holding a seat on the council and it looks like a campaign stunt.
Martin Beeson needs to stand up and give out all the details of the cases that have run through on his watch. Snider for example. It took two trials, a scandal of a monster hunt after the kid up in Meeker, another round of nasty fighting in the lawyers complete with a highly inappropriate email showing the locker room style atmosphere and unprofessionalism in our district attorney's office to get to conviction. With the point being the defense never disputed he had done it they were just trying to save him from being burned alive by a bloodthirsty prosecution. That's the whole story of the hatchet murder trial of Jerry Snider. But just like this fake righteous indignation over Myrl Serra as what looks like a campaign stunt, Beeson always has another version of self-righteous on his website. If he even wants to have a race then have the courage to stand up and show all the records. She should boot this comment and toss it out because it's safer for a lot of people if she does, not the least of which is herself. I hope Nanny doesn't do that. This is about politics now and Martin Beeson does not deserve a free pass when what he really deserves is to be made to be accountable for all of his record. Politics is not pattycake.
January 26, 2012, Note from 'SandBox Nanny':
(Now that DA Beeson has thrown his hat in the ring for district attorney in the 9th, please take note that there will be no special treatment given to any news press surrounding his race. His articles, if they are SandBox worthy or chosen in the daily agg run-up; will be put up just like anyone else in a political race. What SandBox Commentators will continue to do, is heavily moderate his articles. We are the only news media that provides the courtesty of moderating commentary from the general public on 9th Judicial District and Mr. Beeson's articles. )
