Now, every Saturday night, Allen stands next to his 1928 string bass, while Smith sits behind a piano at a small downtown Rifle cafe. To the delight of customers enjoying fine food and wine at the Creekbend Bistro and Coffee, the duo entertains with smooth jazz music.
