SandBox Comments: Pueblo Chieftain "National GOP pledges to help Tipton hold seat"

"In a move to match the opposition, the National Republican Congressional Committee is coming to help U.S. Rep. Scott Tipton in his re-election campaign against his Democratic challenger, state Rep. Sal Pace, of Pueblo.

In an announcement Tuesday, the NRCC announced that Tipton, the freshman congressman who represents Pueblo and the 3rd Congressional District, has been selected for the national committee's Patriot Program — which essentially means the NRCC will help Tipton with campaign funds, advertising and other essentials.

"Scott Tipton has demonstrated the leadership and ability to wage an aggressive campaign based on rigorous goals and proven strategies for victory," U.S. Rep. Pete Sessions, R-Texas, said in a statement from the committee...."
