SandBox Comments: Glenwood Springs Post Independent "Post Independent opinion: Silt's plans to use urban renewal authority raise serious questions"

Congratulations to the Town of Silt!!!

With the now infamous "Kiss of Death" opposing viewpoint of the Glenwood Springs Post Independent Editorial Board.....you are surely guaranteed to eventually get all the money you need from GarCo to build that grocery store!!

Every single time the PI editorial board (whatever rotation of reporter is in place) endorses a viewpoint the exact opposite happens!!

Remember your last trustee elections?  Rest our case.

Remember Dalessandri vs. Vallario?  Rest our case.

Tresi Houpt vs. Jankovsky?  Rest our case.

The only time they even came close to getting it right is stating that Sonya Hemmen should be reinstated.  Granted, they missed the whole  Judy Haptonstall deal.

So, congrats!!!  Spend that first million well and quickly so that we can get you dialed in for the next 3 million.

Post Independent:

If Silt residents had to subsidize this development by themselves, would the idea ever get off the ground?..."

(whisper...whisper...whisper...eh, really?....VCR went down solely on PIF alone??!!...really?...."incensed"??....or was that just the reporting prior to the tide shifting in favor of the smarter growth locals....whisper...whisper...)
