SandBoxBlogs: SkyHi Daily "Rescuers pluck children from icy Colorado River in Hot Sulphur Springs"

Thank you to all agencies who participated in this rescue.  You are appreciated.  

"Three children, ages 6, 7 and 10, were rescued from a precarious ice ledge in the Colorado River in Hot Sulphur Springs on Saturday, according to Grand County emergency personnel.

The incident occurred at about noon near Pioneer Park.

Responding agencies included Grand County EMS, the Grand County Sheriff Office, Granby Fire, and Hot Sulphur Fire.

Grand County EMS transported all three patients to nearest hospital facility. Authorities were not sure whether the children were local or from outside the area...."  (Read more?  Click title)
