Why isn't Glenwood Springs tourism marketing capitalizing on all that the entire State of Colorado has to offer?

This is a day and age where families, if they have decided to spend precious funds on a vacation, are going to not stay in just one place.  They are going to  experience all they can that is family oriented.

Regional tourism marketing and promotion is the key to success.

Congratulations to the City of Durango for capturing not just one small town label but the whole enchilada.

"DURANGO, Colo.- A Western Colorado town has earned a spot on a list of "Best Small Towns in America."

The list, compiled by Smithsonian Magazine, features towns with tons of culture and a population under 25,000.

Durango earned the No. 6 spot on the list. With a population of nearly 17,000, the old railroad and mining town celebrates life Western-style.

Its lamp-post lined historic district, "Music in the Mountains" festival and a theater showcasing both melodrama and vaudeville are all reasons it was selected...." (Read more?  Click title)
