Hard to believe 70 years. My dad was Navy and in Pearl when they hit us. He used to say that a person just can't find it possible to feel the kind of rage and anger they all felt more than once in every lifetime and that was the true feeling of patriotism. Said he was never the same again when it came to living life each and every day. Called it seeing mortality looking him right in the eyes. That when Doolittle put this together they may not have hit all targets but they hit every heart in America with pride. This is quite a video post.
Only 5 men left from one of the most memorable points in our history. Doolittle's Raiders were legend, legend when I was growing up. nails, tb and me used to do dive bombs out of the barn loft pretending. These guys were legends. Are legends.

I don't think there's too many guys over the age of 40 that didn't pretend they were a Doolittle Raider at some point in their childhood.
