"SUMMIT COUNTY — I headed over to the beach along Dillon Dam Road for a morning walk and, what do you know — the ice is mostly melted away from that side of reservoir. Feeling curious, and trying to avoid dealing with some WordPress issues, I decided to venture a little farther than I usually do to check the status of the ice closer to the Dam itself, and since I was already across the Dam in Dillon, what the heck, why not check out the Snake River Arm. From there it was an easy decision to head over Swan Mountain Road to complete the roundtrip. All images taken with an iPhone and filtered with Instagram.
I spent quite a bit of time thinking about photographer Brad Odekirk during this short circuit around the reservoir, wondering what he would have thought of instant mobile photography … I think he would’ve enjoyed working with the iPhone....." (Read more? Click title)
